Monica Stringer

Professional Experience: Prior to joining the team at Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Monica was a Customer Service Teller with Bank of the Cascades, as well as a full time student at Corban University in Salem, Oregon. Monica started at Bank of the Cascades as a floating teller during the summers and holidays when she was still in high school. She came to the Bend office after having completed her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Biblical Studies at Corban University.

Education:

Professional Activities: Monica is a member of the Oregon Reading Association's Capitol Reading Council, and the International Reading Association.

Community Involvment: Monica currently volunteers at the Humane Society of Central Oregon. In the past, she has mentored high school girls and worked as a youth intern. Monica believes that being involved advocates of youth in our communities can bring about positive social change.

Interests: A native of Bend, Monica loves the outdoors. Until the snow falls, she can be found hiking and camping with friends, or just sitting in the park or on her lawn enjoying a good book in the sunshine. Year round, Monica's favorite activity is spending time with her best friend-her 2 year old boxer dog, Mariah.

Monica also enjoys to find ways to creatively express herself, whether through crafts, cooking, or music. She prides herself on being a life-long learner and makes it a priority to constantly grow intellectually.
