The Bend associate attorney was featured in the annual publication.

"'Always keep in mind that I'm working on something much larger than a client's legal matters: It's their life. It's not just a business transaction; it's about something much bigger.'
"My boss here, Joel Kent, told me [this] soon after I started. … It's proven true. Working with clients, sometimes you end up counseling them on life as much as on the legal side of things, and it's helped me keep perspective. I can quote a statute to a client or I can hand them an appellate case but … it probably means a lot more to a client when we just talk about how to move on with their lives after a divorce or after a custody battle."
